At the time, I dared compare the series Devices, complex in its intension, with the development of a historical process, as if all the world facts could fit in a few drawings. I started drawing it under a clear influence of pure psychic automatism and then, under the dynamics of this method, it adopted the shape of stones. Later, under those well-known earthly shapes, they were divided into groups and proliferated. From then on, I showed some fundamental events that were caught in those shapes with the intention of giving testimony. For instance, writing as a sign, the orbit of the atom, the imagery of the machine, and the street sign as a cultural bond. All this series showed me the stone as no other landscape had ever done before.
