Letters to my dead father arises from the need to talk about some stories shared with my father and the need to listen to my mother telling them. My father died when I was six years old and through these texts and drawings, I am trying to communicate with him in some way. I have thus chosen pictures that can be folded and put into a regular envelope and even knowing that the whole process is a simulation, it expresses itself with superb credibility, too. This is the beginning of a series which has been deeply influenced by a poem by Ariana Daniele in the book La Rose Immuable (the immutable rose) as well asmost of the literature written by Frank Kafka.
